The Corvette convertible was "resurrected" in 1986. Aluminum heads were introduced and Anti-Lock (ABS) brakes were made standard. All 1986 convertibles were Indianapolis Pace Car replicas and came with a pace car decal package (optionally installed by the dealer), but none had special paint or options.
